SUMMER OF ICE by LALO ALCARAZ Artistic Satin Poster
Archival paper (11"x14") is used for this long lasting print created by award winning artist Lalo Alcaraz. The original painting pays tribute to all immigrants, but especially to Enrique the Paletero, a street vendor who was kidnapped by supposed immigration agents in Culver City, California. The image is directly inspired by the social media photos taken by his family of his ice cream cart abandoned on the sidewalk. Lalo wanted to depict the image in a sunny Southern California inspired painting style to point out how our "sunny" reality has changed in Los Angeles as we endure the harrowing invasion by both Federal agents and amateur bounty hunters. These thugs are harassing our fellow neighbors, friends and families for politics and paychecks.
FYI: Today, July 18, 2025, Lalo donated $2,000 towards Enrique's defense. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THROUGH YOUR PURCHASE! The fundraising portion of this sale is over, but you can still order a print to show your support to street vendors and to artists like Lalo Alcaraz!
IMPORTANT: These are directly drop shipped to you, Lalo does not print, handle or pack these, he's too crazy busy drawing cartoons against fascism and racism, but he promises to autograph them for you if you want, and if you bring your print to him in person at some future event.
